Cookie Policy

Cookies help a website remember your preferences. Some are needed to keep you securely logged in and make the platform work. Others are optional, and we only use them if you agree.

This page lists all the cookies we use, explains what they do, and shows you how to update your choices whenever you want.

1. What cookies are

A cookie is a small text file a website puts on your device when you visit. It helps the site recognise your device when you return.

Some cookies only last while you use the platform and are deleted when you close your browser. Others stay on your device for a set time so we can remember you next time.

Other tools, like local storage, pixels, and tags, work in similar ways. When we say "cookies" in this policy, we mean all of these technologies.

2. Who sets cookies on the platform

The GoGoProp platform is run by the GoGoProp group of companies, including GoGoProp Finance Limited (Hong Kong), Company Number 72701105.

Cookies on the platform come from two places:

• First-party cookies are set by us directly.
• Third-party cookies are set by services we use, like analytics providers. These companies manage your data under their own privacy policies, and section 3 lists each one.

3. The cookies we use

The table below covers every cookie and similar technology the platform currently uses.

Most of them are strictly necessary. They keep you signed in, protect your account, and stop automated abuse of our public forms. We set these automatically because the platform cannot work without them. You cannot turn them off in our settings, though you can block them in your browser. If you do, parts of the platform will stop working.

One is functional. The theme setting remembers whether you prefer the light or dark appearance, and we only store it once you use the theme control.

We set no analytics, heat-mapping or marketing cookies.

4. Managing cookies in your browser

You control cookies through your browser settings. There is no separate cookie preference centre on the platform, because we do not set any non-essential analytics or marketing cookies to switch off.

Your browser lets you delete cookies already stored on your device and block new ones. The steps depend on which browser you use.

Google Chrome

1. Click the three-dot menu > Settings.
2. Select Privacy and security in the left sidebar.
3. Click Third-party cookies.
4. Choose Allow third-party cookies or Block third-party cookies (you can also add site-specific exceptions).
5. To delete existing cookies: On the same page click See all site data and permissions, then remove individual sites or use Clear browsing data.

Safari

1. Open Safari > Safari menu > Settings (or Preferences).
2. Go to the Privacy tab.
3. Check Block all cookies if you want to stop new cookies (note: this can break some sites).Alternatively, leave it unchecked and rely on the default Prevent cross-site tracking.
4. Click Manage Website Data to view and delete cookies already stored.

Microsoft Edge

1. Click the three-dot menu > Settings.
2. Select Cookies and site permissions (or go via Privacy, search, and services > Cookies).
3. Click Manage and delete cookies and site data.
4. Toggle the options you want (allow/block cookies, block third-party cookies, etc.).
5. Select See all cookies and site data to remove stored cookies.

Mozilla Firefox

1. Click the menu button (three lines) > Settings.
2. Select Privacy & Security in the left sidebar.
3. Under Cookies and Site Data, click Clear Data (or Clear browsing data) to remove stored cookies.
4. Under Enhanced Tracking Protection, choose Standard, Strict, or Custom.In Custom you can specifically block all cross-site cookies.

Before you block all cookies, remember that strictly necessary cookies keep you logged in and your session secure. If you block these, you may not be able to sign in or complete an application.

5. Third-party cookies

We use 2 third-party services which set cookies or similar technologies on the platform: Google reCAPTCHA Enterprise and Firebase App Check, both of which protect our public forms from automated abuse. Google and Firebase are responsible for those under their own policies.

Separately, some steps take you into a third-party environment rather than setting cookies on our platform. If you complete an identity check with Cynopsis, for example, that provider's cookie and privacy policies apply while you are there.

6. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy when the cookies we use change or when the law changes. We recommend that you check this cookie policy regularly. The date and version number at the top always show the latest version.

If we start using a new type of optional cookie, we will ask for your permission before setting it.
